Recreation Ground

Bramerton Recreation Ground
Bramerton recreation ground, beside the village hall, is an attractive stretch of land open to the public, purchased and managed by Bramerton Parish Council for the benefit of parishioners.
The recreation ground includes a play area with slide and climbing frame for young people aged up to 15. This area is separately fenced for the safety of users and dogs are not permitted inside at any time. Users are asked to make sure the gates are always shut after use.
The village bowls club meets regularly at the bowling green on the recreation ground. New members are always welcome, contact 01508 538465 for more details..
The recreation ground comprises a mixture of open grassed areas, woodland and a pond, providing a natural environment for recreation and wildlife. Please be aware that water levels in the pond can vary throughout the year and may be deeper than they appear. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when near the water. For safety purposes, throw lines are located at either side of the pond for use in an emergency.
Please clean up after your dog(s) and dispose of any waste responsibly. A dog waste bin is provided at the entrance to the recreation ground, adjacent to the village hall car park.
General rules
Camping is not permitted on the recreation ground at any time.
Fires and barbecues are not permitted anywhere on the recreation ground. They can damage the grass and create a risk of fire spreading to surrounding woodland, vegetation and undergrowth.
If you wish to hold any event on the recreation ground you must seek written permission from the Parish Clerk at the earliest opportunity as the request will need to be approved at a Parish Council meeting. A charge may be payable.
